I found the IF topic this week to be a tricky one. Today I resorted to looking up some punchlines on the net. It's probably one you have all heard before "6 was scared because 7 8 9". Anyway I thought it was a good one to illustrate :) don't usually go with the violent themes, but this is an exception! I am really loving using waterproof ink to do the outlines, I then fill in with Ecoline ink for the coloured areas.

What a coincidence that we both illustrated the same joke and with so many similarities like you pointed out on my blog.
Another interesting coincidend is that you and I are new at this blogging world. I started my blog in May and joined IF at the end of May or beginning of June. I am also a Graphic Designer and Artist. Kinda funny and weird when you think of it. !!!
Love it! Great colours and a ferocious 7. I always loved that joke as a kid. I'm still trying to finish my punchline sketch- i'm going with a joke too :)Just had good news about my brother - he can fly home asap, so now i've got some creative energy back! Yaaay!!
